The Weekly Picture : 3
a early morning”Pole Dance”..
This is a shot of a 9lb topwater striper from the Ca Delta. I was alone and didn’t have many options for a good photo, so I took out the fisheye and shot a quick shot of this fish with the sun lifting over the horizon.
The challenge like with any back lit shot is to expose the sunrise and still have good detail on the fish.
The Fly is Charlie Bisharat’s “Pole Dancer” and the best topwater stripre fly that I know..
- This was shot with the Canon 60D and a 8-15MM Canon Fisheye lens.
- Processed with Apple’s Aperture shot in RAW.
