The Weekly Picture : 24
The loch is L Ghiubhias, Sutherland in the highlands of Scotland. The water is controlled by Dornoch and District Angling Association. It was 10th May of 2013.
We fished for the evening. Mike in the tube me on the bank. I didn’t see any sign of a fish but mike had a couple, including one of 18 inches. (A good fish for this area, the water is very acidic, a 10 inch fish is considered a “keeper” Though we don’t usually keep any.).
Ghiubhias is a brown trout only water. The head of wild trout is supplemented by transplanting wild browns from one of the clubs other waters (is this stocking?).
There is a full report on the evening on my site.
